Subject: Testimony in SUPPORT of BILL 91
Dear Councilmembers,
I support Bill 91. This ban is a no-brainer. 'toxic chemicals, such as glyphosate, that harm humans and the
ecosystems should not be used in public spaces. Posting signs is not enough. Using precision sprayers isn't enough.
It's well past time the County stop using glyphosate and adopt innovative new methods of weed control. People
opposing the ban because they say weed control will become much more expensive, clearly value convenience and
cost over health and well-being. We can't continue valuing the bottom line over all else.
I commend Councilmember Rebecca Villegas for introducing this bill and support it 100%.
