Subject: Written Testimony, herewith, for Support of Bill 91 to ban Glyphosate in County Parks and
Facilities
Aloha Kakou,
My name is Kiyoko Nanni from District 7.
Herewith, I give Written Testimony, in the Final Testimony to ban Glyphosate in County parks
and facilities. You have heard my voice before.
I am pleased to take note of the progress being made to ban Glyphosate pesticides and
insecticides from being used in County parks and recreational facilities. Aina malama pono,
County members; take care of our land for our keiki, our families and our visitors by making a
collaborative effort with the community to ban this harmful product.
You've heard so many oral testimonies weeks ago, one of them, being my own. These parks and
other recreational facilities provide regenerative care, to every living creature, not just to our
keiki and all people, but to the life of all living creatures around us, that help to regenerate us,
the aina, the flora and fauna, the ocean, the sand we walk on, the air we breathe, EVERYTHING
that exists around us.
As community servants to us, for your own personal well-being, those of your families and
friends, and all of us, please continue your work to sustain a better future for us all. Please hear
the cry: No more Glyphosate, no more poison in County Parks and other facilities!
