Subject: SUPPORT for Bill 105
i
Aloha Councilmembers,
Bill 105 is an excellent idea. Mass transit will alleviate traffic on our roads and CO2 emissions in our
atmosphere. If it is free of charge, more residents (and perhaps tourists too)will be inclined to use it.
I live in Hilo, but my daughter attended Parker school in Waimea for her Junior and Senior years. Every
day, she caught the 5 am bus leaving Mo'oheau Bandstand and the 4Pm bus leaving Parker Ranch Center.
Without the Hele-on, she wouldn't have had this opportunity. My family is grateful that the County offered
safe and reliable bus service each and every day. Please pass Bill 105 so that more people can access free
and safe transportation to wherever they need to go. Mahalo nui loa!
Sincerely,
Liz Laliberte
