My name is Maki Morinoue, County Council District 7.
Hou'oli Mkahiki Hou! I hope you are safe. Mahalo for your service and let's move Hawaii
State in line with our State Motto!
I am requesting an open discussion with the Island of Hawai'i Visitors Bureau regarding the
Destination Management Action Plan and the Community Management Action Plan &
Community Enrichment Program Committee on Governmental Operations, Relations, and
Economic Development. We are at a tipping point and open discussions to heal our land and
relationships must be at the forefront of how we move forward.
In the year 2000 where we blew up from 7 million to 10 million tourists that overran our
islands without proper environmental assessment.
