FROM: Heather Kimball, Council Member 14,
SUBJECT: Request for a presentation from the Administration, specifically Civil Defense and
Department of Finance, on Hawai`i County COVID-19 testing and spending.
This memorandum is being submitted to request two 15-minute presentations, one from Hawai`i
County Civil Defense and one from Department of Finance, followed by 30-minutes for questions and
answers on COVID testing and spending in Hawai`i County. Presentations should include status
updates on testing and spending to date as well as plans for additional testing and spending to help
mitigate future transmissions and infections of COVID-19.
Please place this item on the appropriate Committee agenda on February 8, 2022.
