Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
Please be advised that I am respectfully withdrawing my nomination of Claude S. Onizuka to the
Liquor Commission due to eligibility requirements. Mr. Onizuka's nomination was put forward
in error. Pursuant to Hawai`i County Charter §13-4(c),he will be eligible to serve on the Liquor
Commission after December 31, 2022.
I sincerely apologize for this oversight, and I will convey a nominee for this vacancy as soon as
