BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that it recognizes February as Mahina ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i in the County of Hawai‘i. E HOʻOHOLO HOU ʻIA, paipai ka ʻAha Kalana i ka hoʻohana maʻamau ʻia o ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi ma nā hanana aupuni, nā ʻoihana, a ma ke kaiaulu pū kekahi. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Council encourages normalized use of the Hawaiian language in government activities, business, and in the greater community.
