SUBJECT: Requesting a Presentation with Hawaii Island Economic Development Board
By means of this communication, I am kindly requesting 1 hour for a presentation and discussion
with Jacqui Hoover, Executive Director of the Hawaii Island Economic Development Board, on
efforts to update the County's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
The goal is to make the Council, and community, aware of what the CEDS is, the process to
update, what the document means for our County and State (ie. EDA monies), and how residents
can get involved.
