Aloha Hawaii County Councilmembers,
This letter is being submitted in opposition to the nomination of Shane Vincent to the Leeward Planning
Commission. Vincent Construction Management, is closely tied to development and construction in the
very region he would be making recommendations and decisions on as a commissioner. This should be
considered a conflict of interest and the mayor should be more responsible when nominating individuals
to do a job, especially ones that deal with land usage.
