Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Stephen Lopez of District 8 to the Water Board.
Mr. Lopez has been a resident of Hawai'i for over 20 years. He has dedicated numerous hours of
community service volunteerism with the West Hawai'i Medical Center, Special Olympics,
Lavaman Triathlon, Kona Ironman, Hawai'i Knights of Columbus, the County of Hawai'i
Liquor Commission and Redistricting Commission. He hopes to continue making a difference
and contributing to the good of his community.
If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2026.
