Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Carlene Wolf of District 2 to the Fire Commission.
Ms. Wolf has been a resident of Hawai'i for fifty years. She retired after dedicating twenty two
years with the State of Hawai'i University of Hawai'i System. She has dedicated countless hours
of community service and volunteerism with New Hope Hilo as a member of the Dance
Ministry. She has also contributed her time as a member of the Downtown Improvement
Association assisting and participating in events such as the Hilo Hula and Holiday Parades.
Ms. Wolf epitomizes the essence of professional and personal community service. She is selfless,
always thinking about others and truly seeks out ways to make a difference in our community.
If confirmed, she will serve a term ending December 31, 2026.
