This <br /> equipment will be used to haul biosolids (sludge) from the Hilo Wastewater Treatment <br /> Plant(HWWTP)to the West Hawaii Sanitary Landfill (WHSL). The cost will be <br /> approximately $4,700 per month for the semi-tractor and approximately $4,400 per <br /> month for the mounted bins for 60 months. <br /> The Department of Environmental Management requests that this resolution be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and be placed on the February 23, 2022 Council agenda in <br /> order to expedite receipt of this equipment.
