RESOLUTION T RII THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A
LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THANE FISCAL YEAR
FOR MULTI-YEAR LEASES FORT O ( ) MULTI-FUNCTION COPY
MACHINES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN S URCE
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract,
lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a
later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into multi-year leases for
five (5) years, for two (2) multifunction copy machines for the Department of
Human Resources; and
WHEREAS, the current leases for these copiers will be expiring on June 30,
2022; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into five (5) year leases
for the equipment as indicated above, for the Department of Human
Resources.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the
agreement.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of
Hawaii shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the
Department of Human Resources and the Department of Finance.
