Re: Resolution for multi-year leases
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for multi-year lease agreements for three washers and three dryers for the Office of
Housing and Community Development. These appliances are for use at Kulaimano
Elderly Housing in Pepeekeo. The monthly cost will be approximately $250.

A. REQUEST:.
To request.a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease a r er reratfor seven (7) years
with a vendor to provide and service three (3)washers and three (3) dryers for Kulairnanoo Elderly Housing
located-at 28-1947 Kumula St., Pepeekea, Hi 96783.
B. BACKGRQUND AND JUSTFI ATIO I (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)
All existing machines.are County owned, and are frequently breaking down and c rns:antly needing repairs.:
Additionally, currently county employees are required to collect coins from the machines, roll and count the
coins and deposit the coins at the bank:
With the lease agreement, all maintenance of the machines will be handled directly by the„; vendor as well as
coins collection More importantly, it will'provide reliability for a total of 70 senior residents at Kulaiirrano'
