Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit, to which was referred Communication No. 615,
reports as follows:
Communication No. 615, transmitted by the Honorable Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated January 31, 2022,
nominates Roselyn Molina of Council District 7 to the Transportation Commission.
Executive Assistant to the Mayor, P6maika`i Bartolome, introduced the nominee. Ms. Molina has been a
Hawaii Island resident for over 40 years and is a graduate of Waidkea High School and Hawaii
Community College. Ms. Molina is interested in serving her community and has been dedicated to
volunteering through numerous organizations.
Council Members appreciated the nominee's connection and ability to bring the workforce perspective
to the Commission.
Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Communication No. 614, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Roselyn Molina to the
Transportation Commission.
