Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 315-22, reports as follows:

Resolution No. 315-22, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 620

dated February 3, 2022, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one
fiscal year for a multi-year agreement for ShoreTel Phone system support and maintenance for the
Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. 3
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year agreement with an approximate annual
cost of$14,650.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawaii County Charter, any contract, lease or other obligation requiring
payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall be
made or approved by resolution by the Council.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 315-22, and
recommends its adoption.
