Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 121, reports as follows:
Bill No. 121, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 621 dated
February 3, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 21-38, as amended, the Operating Budget for the
County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
This bill increases revenues in the Fund Balance Reserved for Liquor Control account
($100,000); and appropriates the same to the Liquor Control Other Expenses account($100,000). {
Funds would be used to cover costs associated with Internet and phone installation for the new
West Hawaii Civic Center office location.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 121, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
