Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Louis V. Daniele III to the Windward Planning Commission.
Mr. Daniel has been a resident of Hawai'i for thirty years, and a homeowner in Ocean View for
sixteen years. He has vested interest in the long-term vision of how development should happen
in Ka'u. Mr. Daniel has been employed with Ka'u Coffee Mill for the last decade where he has
been able to get to know members of the community.
Because Mr. Daniel has an understanding of what makes Ka'u such a unique part of our State,
we believe he would be a great asset to the Windward Planning Commission.
If confirmed,he will serve a term ending December 31, 2026.
