These funds will be used by the Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD)to complete the planning, design, construction and dedication of the public access road to the Kukuiola Assessment Center and Emergency Shelter. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $4,000,000 grant. The OHCD requests that this resolution and bill be waived from the Finance Committee, to be placed on the March 23, 2022 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
