The funds will be used for rental assistance for eligible participants in the program. In the current fiscal year's budget, $21,000,000 is appropriated for this grant. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional funds into the Office of Housing and Community Development's.Voucher Rental Subsidies account, bringing the total grant appropriation to $21,450,000:. The OHCD requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee, to be placed on the March 23, 2022 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
