These funds will <br /> be used to cover the cost items agreed to between the employers and the United]Public <br /> Workers (UPW) for Bargaining Unit 1 and employees excluded from Bargaining Unit 1 • <br /> for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and to cover unanticipated costs that <br /> have arisen throughout the year. <br /> Also enclosed are three additional bills for ordinances amending the Operating Budget by <br /> appropriating $55,000 of the fund balance that we plan to transfer into the Sewer Fund, <br /> $106,000 of the fund balance that we plan to transfer into the Solid Waste Fund and <br /> $15,000 of the fund balance that we plan to transfer into the Golf Course Fund. <br /> We respectfully request that these four bills be waived from the Finance Committee and <br /> placed on the on the March 23, 2022 Council agenda in order to expedite this process.
