• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ; �-''�-��'�/_• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •'f4ii OF M''sr I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 345 22 <br /> • RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR A MULTI-YEAR SERVICE ADDENDUM WITH <br /> SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERS LLC FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> BATTERY ELECTRIC INFRASTRUCTURE AND BATTERY <br /> ELECTRIC BUSSES <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year service <br /> addendum for ten (10) years, for the construction of a new infrastructure network <br /> to charge a fleet of battery electric transit vehicles and for a fleet of five (5) 35-foot <br /> battery electric buses; and <br /> WHEREAS, this addendum would allow Sustainability Partners LLC to <br /> finalize pricing with vendors and present a final binding addendum with the <br /> proposed costs for the Mass Transit Agency over the span of ten (10) years ;and <br /> WHEREAS, upon receipt of a final proposed addendum, the Mass Transit <br /> Agency will transmit a resolution for authorization to enter into that said multi-year <br /> agreement; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into this addendum to <br /> finalize pricing that could lead to a ten (10) year agreement for the <br /> services as indicated above, for the Mass Transit Agency.. <br />
