-' ZYOFy� •• - • <br /> • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII • <br /> • ''�= �/_} STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • f;tE <br /> OF 14'' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 351. 22 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF A MINIATURE MEDITERRANEAN DONKEY TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION. <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Sherri Carden is donating a Miniature Mediterranean Donkey to the <br /> County of Hawai`i Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Miniature Mediterranean Donkey, named "Mocha Latte", valued at <br /> approximately$2,000, will be a new addition to the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Garden's <br /> petting zoo; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br />
