............ • <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 352 22 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE <br /> DONATION OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE FROM THE <br /> STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of Health is donating various <br /> computer equipment and software to the County of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, this computer equipment and software, with an estimated value of <br /> $11,499.68, consists of one (1) Fujitsu fi-730 Color Duplex Professional Document <br /> Scanner, two (2) Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021, Windows, eight (8) Brother <br /> HLLL5200DWT Business Laser Printers, and twenty (20) LG 34" IPS HDR WFHD <br /> Monitors; and <br /> WHEREAS, this computer equipment and software will be utilized by the Hawaii <br /> County Police Department to produce various reports; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and <br /> Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts <br /> or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the <br /> capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution <br /> approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department recommends the acceptance <br /> of this donation; now, therefore, <br />
