SUBJECT: Request for Presentation by Hawaii Electric Light Company on its notice of
increased rates
Due to public inquiry relating to the recent press release advising of Hawaii Electric Light
Company's increased rates, by means of this communication I am respectfully requesting a
15-minute presentation by and a 15-minute discussion with Hawaii Electric Light Company
(HELCO) on this matter.
I humbly request that this matter be referred to the appropriate committee for its March 22, 2022
agenda. At present we are not advised of any specific presentation material that HELCO
would provide; however, if such becomes available, we will submit the same urgently.
