Re: Transmitting Resolution No. 335-22, Draft 2; Resolution Authorizing the Director
of Finance to Negotiate a Three (3)year Lease of Real Property with Option
Terms for a Portion of 34 Rainbow Drive (Old Hilo Hospital), Situated at
Pi`ihonua, South Hilo, County and State of Hawaii, and Identified as a Portion of
Tax Map Key: (3) 2-3-026:008, to Hope Services Hawaii Inc.
Attached please find Resolution No. 335-22, Draft 2. Resolution No. 335-22 was amended with
the contents of Communication No. 657.2 and duly approved by the Council on March 9, 2022.
The Council voted to suspended Rule No. 24-1(e) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of
the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution, and adopted
Resolution No. 335-22, as amended to Draft 2.
