SUBJECT: INTENT TO AWARD STATE FUNDS FOR SENIOR CENTERS FOR
SFY 2022
Subject to the availability of funds, the Executive Office on Aging (EOA) intends to award
the County of Hawaii, Hawaii County Office of Aging (HCOA) State general funds for the
provision of Senior Center services in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand,
Two Hundred Fifteen dollars ($268,215.00). This amount represents the Senior Center
funds for HCOA based on a statewide funding formula EOA utilizes to disperse state
funds between all four counties in Hawaii.
These funds are subject to the allotments to be made by the Director of Finance, State of
Hawaii pursuant to Chapter 37, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
