Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Chantee Shiroma of District 3 to the Cost of Government
Commission.
Ms. Shiroma has been a resident of Hawai'i for fourty-seven years. She is a graduate of Waiakea
High School, Hawai'i Community College, where she earned her Associates degree in Early
Childhood Education, and currently attends the University of Hawai'i at Hilo completing her
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She was employed as a Family advocate for Jumpstart
Preschool, Area coordinator for P.E.A.C.E, and is currently a Licensed Realtor.
Born and raised on the Big Island, Ms. Shiroma is interested in learning, listening and
contributing her time and efforts to help shape the quality of life for all generations.
If confirmed, she will serve a term to end December 31, 2022.
