Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Pono Kekela of District 4 to the Water Board.
Mr. Kekela has been a resident of Hawaii for twenty-two years. He is employed with Kekela
Enterprises LLC and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is also a
State Central Committee Representative for Senate District 2 and has worked with numerous
organizations ranging from food drives to highway clean ups.
Mr. Kekela is seeking the opportunity to enhance the efficiency and progression of the County of
Hawaii. He is ready to serve his community. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end December
31, 2026.
