Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of the design and development of"Phase 1"
of the County of Hawaii mobile application, Kahea from Duane Kurisu and the AIO
Family of Companies. This mobile application, with an estimated value of$45,000, will
allow the County to provide quicker and more effective messaging,ultimately promoting
greater transparency.

Acceptance of a donation to the development and design of"Phase 1"for the County of Hawaii Mobile
Application named Kahea.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED}:
The County of Hawaii espressed a vision for a modernized communication system that would allow for
quicker, more effective messaging. Ultimately, promoting greater transparency The first phase of the Hawaii
County mobile application was gifted to the County of Hawaii.
The total value of"Phase 1" build-out is $45,000
