Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
The Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to lease real property located at 92-8606
Paradise Circle, Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, Ka`u Hawaii. This location, at the St.
Jude's Episcopal Church will be used for the Department's Elderly Activity programs
and Nutrition Congregate Meal program.
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the County to enter into a three-year, multi-year lease
agreement with the St. Jude's Episcopal Church for the location described above. The
anticipated rent shall be $475 per month,plus tax.

A. REQUEST.
Approval to negotiate a multi-year lease of three (3) years of real property from the St Jude's Episcopal
Church located at 92-8606 Paradise Circle, Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, Ka`u, Hawaii.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation would like to lease approximately 1175 square
feet at the St. Jude Episcopal Church for it's Elderly Activities Programs and Nutrition Congregate Meal
Program. The proposed monthly lease rent of$475 plus tax is inclusive of common area maintenance fees.
