Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 147, reports as follows:
Bill No. 147, transmitted by the Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 690
dated March 4,2022, amends Ordinance No. 21-38, as amended,the Operating Budget for the
County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Transfer from General Fund account($106,000); and
appropriates the same to the following Salaries & Wages accounts: Landfills ($92,000) and
Pu`uanahulu West Hawaii Landfill ($14,000).
Ms. Sako provided a brief explanation of the measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 147, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
