My name is Kamaile Puluole-Mitchell and I am testifying in strong support of Bill 101 relating I
to HICDC's Hale Ola O Mohouli Housing Project.
I
I am a participant in HICDC`s self-help development program. I am grateful for the opportunity in
becoming a first-time homeowner through HICDC programs. Without the help of these types of
projects homeownership would have not been possible for me. This program has allowed me to
provide a stable home for my children and generations to come.
Hawai'i Island is facing a housing crisis and 1 strongly urge you to support the efforts of Keith
Kato and HICDC to provide affordable housing for our island. This bill would allow kama 'aina to
affordably remain here on Hawaii island. Please vote yes on Bill 101 and keep our families
living and thriving on Hawaii island.
