Time share condominium development is particularly abusive to our natural environment. The IPCC in the 6th Assessment Report (Code Red for Humanity) has 3 designated a determination and a method for calculation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Aviation. Applying that method to Hawaii Tourism Authority's statement of numbers of visitors to Hawaii from each of eight'Regions of Origin'calculates that the average'visitor to Hawaii is responsible for 2.4 tons CO2(e)of global warming emissions in air transportation in 2019. Previous calculations with a method averaging results of eight internet Carbon Offset emissions calculators had calculated 1.8 tons GHG emissions per person. Using the new(much more straightforward) IPCC endorsed method changes that calculation to 2.4 tons per average person round trip. With 10 million visitors to Hawaii (state) in 2019 that calculates to 24 million tons CO2(e) 3 emissions from air transport of visitors which is twice the entirety of Hawaii's total domestic greenhouse gas emissions of 12 million tons -7.8 million tons CO2(e)in Stationary Combustion (electricity generation and petroleum refinement)and 4 million tons from ground transportation. We must stop this. Begin by denying consent for Bill 112 and Bill 115. j Tawn Keeney MD CD ri I— r Y ' Q a»V =3 Ii 04 Co M.-A. X10. _ Phu, o: ry yf. Daae FES - L=2 1
