Aloha Honorable County Council Members
My name is Cindi Punihaole and I am kama'aina of Kona. I reviewed the maps provided and noticed that much detail was
afforded in the repurposing of the existing golf course area but no detail for the 140 affordable housing rental units. I would
like to know why the affordable housing units are not detailed in the Conceptual Master Plan,do not have the option of a
lease-to-purchase or purchase, and what is the developer's definition of affordable housing.Another concern is the amount of
increased traffic this development will bring to the area and how it will impact our natural resources and infrastructure. I
believe a much more detailed Information Sheet and Conceptual Master Plan are in order before the council can make a
realistic and pono decision on these bills.
