Aloha,
I am writing as a full time resident of Kona for approximately 18 years. My first trip here was in 1978,and I knew then I would one
day live here.
My husband and I love this island. However,we are totally disappointed in the inefficient infrastructure! We are already impacted by
the number of visitors.Adding more timeshare homes is insane. If anyone needs to feel the lack of roads,travel on Henry and Hwy
11 around 4:30 in the afternoon. It is deadlocked!
How long have you waited in lines at the new Safeway?
I am urging you NOT to pass any additional developments until our roads can efficiently accommodate mass developments.
This is paradise.. I feel as though these plans would "Pave Paradise"and make our island a parking lot.
