Hawaii County Council,
I Urge you to support Bill 120.
One of the primary drivers of electric vehicle adoption is a widespread, reliable, network of vehicle charging
stations. This is especially important in our large mostly rural county. Unfortunately, Hawaii County has
not been able to achieve this relatively simple goal despite longstanding state legislation requiring charging
availability in large parking lots. Bill 120 would go a long way toward facilitating county enforcement of
these requirements.
