Greeting from Waimea on the Big Island.

I am now eight years driving fully electric vehicles, and enjoying my second LEAF, a 2019 fabulous car. -
I am taking the time from a packed work day to urge you to please go ALL IN for Bill 120. Please!
Given COP 26 and our global and local commitments to protect life on Earth,the chance for Hawai'i to lead in energy
and transportation, and not follow, and the urgent need to go electric in the transportation field (now 10 times stronger
than the energy electrification field economically),thus we write now to urge you to please support this bill.
It was so difficult to get from Waimea to Kona and make it to all my appointments and do my work when I had my
first (2013) Leaf, due to a lack of charging stations, and their unreliability. I was towed twice and all too often
experienced "range fright"not knowing if I would make it home, as there were no chargers working!
This kept most people from buying electric and still does. That is now unacceptable.
PPLEASE SUPPORT THIS BILL. HELCO here is doing a mediocre job keeping these few changers working. We,
those of us who are willing to pioneer this transition need your full support.
