Island, in support of Bill 111,which would appropriate at least 75% of the property tax
Mail Noeau revenue that is currently collected from second homes valued over $2 million.

through programs like affordable home ownership, which are an integral part of the

successful,but only when they are adequately funded!

new homeowners, but the county's General Consolidated Plan show that 13,303 of
April Bates families on Hawaii Island need affordable housing by 2025.

Housing insecurity is a traumatic and stressful experience. Whether someone is on the

and vicious cycle of health issues(which include mental health/substance abuse), low
