��trfas Y OF HAWAPI STATE OF HAWAPI art of•H►�+ RESOLUTION NO. 367 22 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR "SURF WITH ALOHA" SIGNS AT COUNTY BEACH PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN WEST HAWAII. WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Maintenance Division, maintains neighborhood parks, beach parks,playgrounds, ballfields, and other recreational facilities; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Maintenance Division, has identified the need for"Surf With Aloha" signs to post at County beach parks and recreational facilities; and WHEREAS, the posting of"Surf With Aloha" signs will provide an immediate visible reminder to surfers as they enter the waters to be mindful of fellow surfers and swimmers in their path and vicinity, for the purpose of keeping all who enjoy the ocean safer; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase signage at the County beach parks and recreational facilities in West Hawaii; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation for "Surf With Aloha" signs at County beach parks and recreational facilities in West Hawaii. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $1,500 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $1,500 CREDITED TO: 010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,500 Parks Maint. OCE 229 Bldg & Constr Materials ("Surf With Aloha" Signs, West Hawaii)
