invested in Our coMM-M&Y's future-Most importantly, KUMu HOU is good for Hawal'i
Island and will ensure meaningful opportui-dties for our local community and
Waikolods worl<force.
There are many reasons to support Kuma Hou,but one of the most meat-drigful is that
the project will ensure the creation of no less than 140 affordable workforce rental
housing units for kamadi-na.Statewide, the lack of affordable housing for local families
is a pressing concern, and here on the Kohala Coast, that challenge persists.The
Waikoloa Land Company has already fulfilled its affordable housing requirements,but,
seeing the impacts of this issue,firsthand,they've chosen to proactively assist h-i creating
solutions for this problem and provide a substantial boost to Hawaii Island's
affordable housing inventory.
