I am a resident of this island who is very concerned with continuing developments for tourists that affect our nearshore waters and
wildlife while not providing for affordable housing for all employees of these resort areas. Benefits are primarily for investors and
developers while low paid employees continue to suffer the high cost and time for long commutes. Furthermore consider the GHG
emissions to further development and commuting of employees and tourists to get here.
I urge you to consider the above factors and those outlined by Hawai'i Island Sierra Club Group before approval.
