I'm a responsible dog owner and I support Bill 125 toughening penalties for owners of aggressive dogs. A friend was
walking his dog on leash at the Honoka'a post office last year when they were attacked by two large dogs running
loose. Both my friend and his dog sustained injuries. His dog's injuries were horrendous,though thankfully he 3
survived. My friend's out-of-pocket expenses were substantial. The owners of the loose dogs took no responsibility
and just said, "Sue me". The Honoka'a police say there is nothing they can do......and that is just not right. I
