My name is Glenn H Freitas. I reside in Waimea Lakeland Subdivision. Heather Kimball brought this Bill 125 proposal to my attention
this morning. I have been contacting Heather, Rep David Tarnas, & Mayor Roth about this Animal Control issue. I am a supporter of
this bill for I feel it to be very necessary to try and control the problem with loose animals(especially dogs)damaging property and
attacking innocent people. I myself got attacked by a neighbors dog a few years back while riding my bike in the subdivision. The
attack threw me off the bike and the dog bit my leg and foot sending me to the ER. Most recently, my 66 year old mother in law got
attacked by a loose dog while walking to the bus stop, sending her to the ER for sutures on a 4" laceration on her leg. Both times the
owners suffered no punishment at all! This needs to stop! Our incidents were not even close to the severity of the little girl who
recently got mauled on the way home from school and the poor elderly lady that lost her life from dog attacks, both in Ke'aau. Please
pass this Bill 125,for I feel it's time for owners to take full responsibility for their animals. And also to spread awareness to the
community that it will no longer be tolerated! Mahalo for your attention on this matter. You can contact me anytime at(808)987-
