I In my experience, I know three people with permanent injuries from dog attacks. One was walking on her own property when two dogs rushed her, knocked her over, and bit her till she had life-threatening injuries. They broke every bone in one of her hands and it will never heal completely. The County Prosecutor refused to pursue a case against the owner. Another person was bitten on the job as a vet assistant. She ended up with permanent nerve damage that causes chronic pain, and lost her job because she was in too much pain to keep up. A third was attacked by two dogs while riding her bike, and ended up straddling her bike, with one attacking dog locked onto one leg,and a second dog locked onto the other leg. She was only saved because a friend fought the dogs off. For me, I have sometimes had trouble getting home from jogging when a neighbor's dog gets loose and aggressively blocks my way. CD Please support this badly needed bill. Mahalo. : ,aMANs 1
