I
I strongly support Bill 125. My dog and I were viciously attacked on April 25, 2021 in Honokaa a quarter mile from
the post office. My dog needed over 9 visits to the Vet and multiple surgeries. My doctor ordered a back x-ray
which showed a fracture and then sent me for an MRI scan at Queens in Waimea. I have had dozens of sessions with
a licensed Acupuncturist and physiotherapist and other alternative medical practitioners as I want to avoid back
surgery.

Later I was stunned to find out from neighbors mauka and makai that the same dogs have attacked or intimidated a
number of neighbors. Many have filed police reports too.
I worry about the young girl who walks home everyday from school. Her route takes her by this home with its 5
vicious dogs. Please do your best to keep Honokaa and Big Island safe. We love this community.
