I support this bill to make owners of dangerous dogs accountable and to make the penalties stronger. I
have been bitten twice by dogs while walking in my own neighborhood. One time was a dog off leash and
another by a vicious dog that broke off leash while being walked by a child who could not control it. I have
a dog of my own and I like dogs, but my dog is under my control at all times.
Victims of dog attacks should not have to hire a lawyer to go after people with dangerous dogs.
