Subject: re vicious dogs
Dear Council members:
I was involved about 10 years ago in an incident in HPP on I Oth Street. A pit bull from across the street from a
woman, ran out of an insecure gate and took a huge chuck out of the woman's arm while she was holding her 2 year
old grandson. It's taken years for her arm to recover after surgeries. The dog was taken to the humane society and
later stolen from their outside cages in the night.
We want this kind of thing to stop in HPP and all over Hawaii. Please vote for larger penalties for the owners and
dictate destruction of the dog or dogs involved.
I am also dealing with loose dogs coming into my yard and killing my chickens and would like to have this addressed
as well.
