No. 706/Bill No. 151 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> k <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 2:12 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> a <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 151, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 151, transmitted by Director of Finance Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 706 dated <br /> March 17, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 21-39, as amended, relating to public improvements and <br /> financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. <br /> This bill adds the Parks and Recreation Council Discretionary Projects-District 6 project($100,000) to <br /> the Capital Budget. Funds for this project shall be provided from the General Obligation Bonds, Capital <br /> Projects Fund—Fund Balance and/or Other Sources and would be used towards improvements, repairs, <br /> and modifications at County park facilities throughout Council District 6. <br /> Committee Member Maile Medeiros David provided background on the measure. <br /> Committee Member Susan L. K. Lee Loy asked Ms. Sako how the redrawing of district lines would <br /> impact this measure. Ms. Sako stated that the funding will follow the new shape of District 6. <br /> Per Committee Member Herbert M.
