RESOLUTION NO. .384 22
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRINGIAPPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION FOR THE RENTAL OF A PORTABLE BATHROOM FOR
HONAUNAU BOAT RAMP.
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation-maintains Honaunau Boat Ramp
located at Honaunau Bay in South Iona; and
WHEREAS, FIonaunau Boat Ramp and its surrounding area is utilized by residents and
visitors to participate in variety of activities such as swimming, fishing, and snorkeling; however
it lacks bathroom facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the rental of
a portable bathroom, which will be placed in the public access area; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for the rental of portable bathroom for Honaunau Boat Ramp.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
